Lord of Camelot’s Progeny (June 2023)

We are very pleased with the quality of fleeces being produced on the Autumn cria drop sired by Lord of Camelot. Well defined crimp in uniform bundles and lots of lustre.

Miss Posh Wins Again (August 2022)

Lualto Miss Posh continued her winning ways at the Charles Ledger Show in August ’22.  She impressed the judge Jude Anderson with her very dense, even and fine fleece and was awarded Champion Adult Female.  She then went on to win Best Brown Huacaya in the Show.  Couldn’t have done better! This followed her being awarded Reserve Champion at both the 2022 Christmas in July Colourbration Show at Goulburn and the Boorowa Show in March’22.

Fire Stone Finds New Home (March 2023)

FIRE STONE started the 2022 year at the Boororwa Show winning his junior class and being awarded Best Brown in Show.  Sired by Windsong Valley Reuben out of our beautiful black female Black Pearl. He then placed second in class at the Christmas in July Colourbration Show at Goulburn and placed first in Intermediate class at the Charles Ledger Show in September. After a successful show season he has been sold in 2023 as a future stud male to Blue Star Alpacas.

The Wet Spring 2022

What a difference a year makes. From drought to flooding rains and green grass everywhere and very wet alpacas.

The Drought of 2019/20

The summer of 2019/20 saw the worst conditions in southern NSW for many years. With bushfires covering a large area of NSW we were inundated with smoke as well as bare paddocks from an extended period of hot dry conditions. We were hand feeding and carting water day after day for months.

Shearing (October 2021)

Another year’s shearing over here at Lualto Alpacas thanks to James Dixon (the shearer) and his rouseabout. 138 very happy alpacas after being shorn. View James shearing in the link below.

W.V. Reuben’s Progeny (2019)

Two of Reuben’s progeny had Show success with Beckham winning Supreme Roan at the 2019 Wodonga Colourbration and Firedancer winning Reserve Champion Intermediate Female at Boorowa. Both went to a new home in Victoria.

Mirusia’s Show Success (2018)

Mirusia completed her showing career at the Canberra Royal Show in February winning Champion Adult female and Reserve Champion at Boorowa Show the following month. She looked impressive as usual inheriting her sire’s (Softfoot Ryjel) impressive dense and even fleece coverage.

Kelany HOBO (2008 – 2021)

Hobo was bred by Bill & Annette Robbins (Traron Alpacas) and was shown very successfully by them winning Supreme Roan at the Victorian Colourbration Show. We purchased him in 2012 to put over our coloured Fenomeno daughters. He produced many coloured offspring including Black Pearl, a broad ribbon winning solid black female.

Encantador FENOMENO (2005 – 2018)

Fenomeno was purchased at the National Show & Sale in Canberra in 2006. He produced many high quality coloured females that formed the basis of our coloured breeding for the next 10 years. He achieved some high awards in the show ring, such as 1st in class at National show, Supreme Brown at the Charles Ledger Show in Sydney and Champion Adult Male at the same show. His coloured progeny won many broad ribbons at shows. Unfortunately his life ended prematurely from a snake bite in 2018.
